Blanzac, slightly further, is also good for everyday shopping and restaurants. For more extensive shopping, Angoulême, just 10 miles away, should not be missed. Ribérac, Brantôme, Cognac and La Rochelle are all within easy reach. Surrounded by Cognac vines, the views from the first floor are quite magnificent. Large enclosed garden safe for children with covered area with garden furniture and barbecue. Enclosed swimming pool (10x5m 21/05-30/09, can be heated at extra cost payable locally).  .Interior: Restored to a very high standard and attractively decorated with a mix of period and modern furniture with high beamed ceilings throughout. Bright country style kitchen well equipped with rings, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and breakfast table. Living room with large heavy wooden dining table and large dresser. Lounge area with sofa, two armchairs, period stone fireplace, TV and Hi-Fi. Twin room with en suite shower room and washbasin. Separate wc. Upstairs: three bright, pretty bedrooms: a large Louis XVIth style double with shower and washbasin, a spacious three bedded room and a twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, washing machine and separate wc. Cot and highchair. Electricity including pool heating payable locally. Bed linen and one bath towel per person included.
