House: In the heart of Valençais wine region Position: In the village of Préaux, five miles from Chatillon sur Indre or Ecueillé for shops, supermarket and morning markets. Within easy reach of Loches, Valençais, Montrichard, Chenonceaux and many other historical chateaux. The stone house stands at the end of the village and surrounded by beautiful countryside, ideal for walks and cycling. There is an enclosed garden,large covered terrace and a patio outside the dining room. Above ground swimming pool (4x6.9m, 21/05-24/09), garden furniture and barbecue. Table tennis, bats and balls for outdoor games.Interior: The village house is spacious and well decorated with a fireplace, high ceilings and beams in most rooms. The separate kitchen has a professional range cooker with large oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, kettle, cafetiere and toaster. Shower room and wc. The pleasant dining room with its wooden dressers and table opens onto the terrace. Comfortable, spacious lounge with two sofas and two armchairs, DVD and radio. Two bedrooms on the first floor a room with two single beds and a huge double room (queen size bed) with sofa in the lounge area (extra bed on request). The bright and airy bathroom has a double basin, shower, bath and separate wc. The impressive large top floor loft has a double bedroom (queen size bed), a lounge with two wicker armchairs and a fantastic high ceiling bathroom with corner spa bath, double basin and massive double shower.
