House: A stunning wood-framed house Position: The enchanting village of Moureze, famous for its unusual rock formation and with a bar/restaurant is within walking distance of the house. Clermont l'Hérault is about four miles away for shops and supermarkets. Tennis courts about two miles away. The Lac de Salagou for windsurfing is just over a mile away and an hours hike over the craggy hillside behind the house. The rocky hillside rises behind the house, dotted with pine trees, heather and wild rosemary and the house has been designed to blend into this attractive landscape. There are various terraces around the house, the main terrace is covered and overlooks the oval pool (12x5.5m 15/05-23/10) which is surrounded with wooden decking. Terrace with garden furniture and a large gas barbecue.Interior: The main floor is designed to make the most of the position of the house. There are picture windows on nearly every wall, giving the impression of space and light. From the terrace, glass doors lead into the open plan dining/kitchen area with mixed hob, electric oven, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and table and chairs. Living area with leather sofas and armchairs, TV, DVD and video player. Behind this is a hallway/music room with piano. Double bedroom with Jacuzzi bath and basin. Children's room with single bed and mezzanaine with two mattresses. Double bedroom opening onto a terrace and a very small bunkroom. Shower room with basin and washing machine. Two separate wcs. Steps up to a huge room, almost totally surrounded by picture windows with twin beds and a television. Telephone for incoming calls only. Electricity included up to 100kwh per week.
