House: A lovely villa in attractive enclosed gardens Position: In a quiet residential area, under five miles from Alès, the main shopping town, with a bakery just 500 metres away. Local shops and bar/restaurant in St Martin de Valgagues, just over a mile away. Tennis courts close by in the village. Thermal baths, restaurant and casino at Les Fumades about seven miles away. The Cevennes, Avignon, Nîmes, Pont de Gard and the Gorges de l'Ardeche are all easily accessible for day trips and the enchanting town of Uzès, with its Saturday market, about 20 miles away, is well worth visiting. Over an acre of enclosed gardens, attractively set out with lawns dotted with fruit trees, a swimming pool (9.5x4.75m 9/07-20/08), children's games and a summer terrace with table and chairs, barbecue, sink and fan. On the first floor, off the kitchen is a large terrace with table and chairs and a vine covered trellis. Garage for two cars and parking for three more cars.Interior: Large hallway, off which is a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath, shower and wc. Upstairs is the main floor with a very elegant living room, with table and chairs, two sofas and television. Kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and opening onto the terrace. Two double bedrooms, one with TV opening onto the terrace and a single room. Bathroom with bidet and double sink. Two separate wcs. Utility room with washing machine and American fridge. Electricity over 100kw per week payable locally.
