House: Very comfortable restored country house in secluded valley setting Position: Just over three miles from the pretty bastide towns of Eymet and Miramont de Guyenne for a good choice of shops and restaurants and three miles from St Pardoux Isaac for everyday shops and supermarket. Riding at Serignac, 10 minutes drive away. About 17 miles south of Bergerac and its vineyards and within easy reach of Bordeaux vineyards, such as Saint Emilion. Just over an hours drive to Sarlat and many other places of interest along the Dordogne valley. Beautifully set in a broad valley in some 40 acres of land, well off the beaten track. The English owners have a detached cottage next door, which is completely self contained. A large barn opposite the house provides an excellent covered games area with basket ball net, football net and table tennis. The large enclosed pool (12x6m 30/04-09/10) just below the house is bordered by garden with areas of lawn, shrubs and flowers, with meadows beyond and a pond for fishing. Plenty of garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue. A covered gallery along the front of the house provides welcome shade and is perfect for al fresco dining.Interior: 6-room house 190 m2, south facing position, antique and tasteful furnishings: living room with open fireplace, satellite-TV, video, CD-player and DVD. 1 room with 1 bed (90 cm), 1 double bed. 2 rooms, each room with 1 double bed. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm). Kitchen (4 hotplates, oven, dishwasher, micro wave, freezer) with dining table and wood burning stove. Bath/WC, sep. WC, bath/shower/WC. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's highchair, cot.
