House: Tastefully decorated house with lovely views Position: On the edge of the new 18 hole golf course of Lolivari, about two miles from the delightful hilltop bastide town of Belves for shopping, weekly market, bars, cafés, restaurants and tennis. Slightly further to Siorac with its supermarket and the Dordogne valley just beyond and some 20 miles from Sarlat. Set on a hillside in extensive, partly wooded grounds with uninterrupted views across the valley. A long covered terrace runs along the front of the house with solid wood table and chairs, picnic table, gas barbecue and wide steps down to the meadow below. At the end of the terrace is a superb swimming pool (10x5m, 30/04-24/09) with fully automated cleaning system, roman end, waterfall along the valley side, solar heated shower and crazy paved surround with ample sun loungers and parasol. Childrens trampoline (5m).Interior: Equipped to a very high standard and tastefully decorated in modern style. Large airy sitting room with wood beams, comfortably furnished with two sofas and armchairs around the big open fireplace with wood burning stove and with 42 inch flat screen LCD TV/DVD/Video (450 films). Separate dining room and well equipped fitted kitchen with marble work surafce, ceramic hob, grill/oven and microwave/oven, fridge/freezer, diswasher, electric cafetiere, mixer and kettle. Two ground floor bedrooms, a large twin with french windows onto the terrace and ensuite shower and wc and a second twin with shower. Third twin bedroom upstairs in the 'pigeonnier' tower with shower. Separate wc with washbasin in hallway below. Stairs from the dining room lead down to the large basement garage where there are two extra single beds stored, which can be used in any of the bedrooms and a washing machine. In a wonderful hilltop setting, with beautiful views, the house stands in extensive grounds with a private pool (10x5m, 30/04-24/09) and catches the sun all day. There is a covered terrace in front of the house and another terrace at the side, with ample garden furniture and barbecue. The woods behind provide shade on hot summer days as well as lots of scope for children's games.Interior: The comfortably furnished sitting room has two sofas and armchairs, a fireplace with wood burner and satellite TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi. Shop 7 km, grocers 7 km, supermarket 7 km, restaurant 7 km, nearby attractions: BEYNAC CAZENAC 23 km, LE BUGUE 23 km, LA ROQUE GAGEAC 23 km, SARLAT 32 km, DORDOGNE 14 km. Within easy reach of the Dordogne valley, with Sarlat some 15 miles away. Across the attractive gardens from the house of the helpful English-speaking owners, the house has a private garden to the other side with swimming pool (9x4.5m 21/05-16/09), sun loungers and views over the surrounding fields. Two terraces with garden furniture and a further covered terrace with built-in barbecue. Table tennis in a large room downstairs. Parking for two cars.Interior: The living accommodation is all on one floor and is dominated by the very large beamed living room with open fireplace, two sofas, armchairs, dining table and chairs, satellite TV and music system. Well-equipped kitchen area with electric hob, microwave, small electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Along a long passage are three twin bedrooms. Bathroom with basin and wc and shower room with basin and wc. Washing machine in the basement. Cot and highchair available on request. Electricity payable locally.
