The historic and picturesque city of Auxerre is just six miles away with the renowned wine making village of Chablis within easy driving distance. This is the heart of Northern Burgundy making it an ideal base from which to explore the region.  Situated on a quiet cul de sac just 100 metres away from the canal, ideal for the many lovely walks to other villages as well as offering great opportunities for fishing and cycling. The house has an attractive courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue.Interior: Tastefully furnished throughout, the house is light and airy. Spacious living room with dining area and sitting area around the fireplace, television with English and French channels, video and Hi-Fi. The separate kitchen is modern and well-equipped with electric rings, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. Washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. Upstairs, a large double bedroom and a twin share a bathroom and wc. Electricity included up to 50kw per week. Cot available.
